Service Description

Learn how to make a wooden pendant on the lathe. Start with a 1/2" x 1/2" x 5" blank, with many woods to choose from. You can be creative with it, making it short or long, a simple shape or many intricate details. Learn to use small gouges to add detail. At the end, you'll drill a hole in the top and add 2 jump rings. I'll provide suede string, but the string can easily be changed out to a nicer jewelry chain at home. If you get the hang of it quickly, you can make more than one pendant during the class, or ask to learn advanced methods such as multi-axis pendants and captive ring pendants. All tools, materials, and safety equipment are provided. Please wear close-toed shoes. As the instructor, I am fully vaccinated, though I will wear a mask. Masks are optional for you, the student. Class is for ages 8 and up. The payment benefits Past Lives LLC and the instructor. I accept Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp, cash, or check, or you may opt to receive in invoice through Past Lives LLC. Tips are encouraged.
